Small Kitchen Fire Uncovers more than just Ashes in San Diego, CA

A small kitchen fire uncovers much more losses. The resident of this home lost track of time. When they realized they had set a pot on the stove smoke was everywhere and caused damage to the drywall. The SERVPRO of San Diego East production team did several things for the job. The tenant splashed water in order to stop the fire from spreading. The walls were not only smokey, but as well damp. Underneath the drywalls we also discovered an intense amount of mold, which the residence were unaware of. This was due to a very tine leak found through the pipes. It was virtually harmless but after years drips the damage became visible beneath the surface. Our customer was very stressed of all the work that had to be done in her home.
